About Daniel

Hello!

I’m Daniel and welcome! I’m a professional photographer here in Durham, North Carolina. After working in the corporate world for 15 years, I decided to pursue my passions and return to photography. Its been my passion since I was a kid and I consider myself very fortunate to do this for a living. I absolutely love the clients that come to my studio, and providing them with photography that exceeds their expectations and provides a positive solution for them. It gives me real satisfaction and fuels passion to be the best I can be every day. I enjoy working with all types of clients, from headshots and portraits, to weddings, commercial, and editorial work.

In addition to my studio and wedding photography, I also run a non-profit, teaching photography to underprivileged children in Uganda, and I hope to expand the project to other communities soon.

I absolutely love wildlife and animal photography, and I’ve been lucky to travel and work all over the world, photographing animals for campaigns and fundraising.

I’ve also had the pleasure of working on numerous campaigns and projects, having work featured in New York’s Times Square, Forbes Magazine, Wine Spectator, and numerous books.

In 2019, I directed short documentary about a cattle farm turned animal sanctuary, called Cows Come Home, which received numerous awards, including Best Short Documentary by the Anaheim Film Festival.

I enjoy speaking at events and participating on panel discussions about everything from photography to social justice issues.

If you have an interesting project, or need general photography services, I’d love to hear about it!
